Hi! My name is Sara Schumacher. I am a native to Colorado and this is my 23rd year teaching. I have spent my teaching career in the primary grades (K-2). I love this age of curiosity and great growth! I am also the part time Professional Learning Specialist (PLS) to help coach our amazing staff to be the best they can be.
I have been married for 23 years and have a son, Kyle, who is a freshman at Mississippi State University and a 11th grade daughter, Paige. We enjoy adventures and getting outside. You can find us traveling, golfing, skiing, stand-up paddle boarding, reading, running and cheering on USAFA Falcons, MSU Bulldogs and OHIO State Buckeyes during college football season. We have 2 dogs name Lucy and Henry.
My classroom management philosophy is a product of these two books. I highly recommend you read them both so that we have common language at school and at home.
